Lukas Paul, Head of Services at Lexogen gave a Lunchtime Seminar at the Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute which attracted a lot of attention of both scientists and bioinformaticians. The talk was focused on the use of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) for the analysis of transcriptional changes using the QuantSeq technology. It facilitates efficient and cost-effective expression profiling and is therefore an ideal protocol for cancer research studies that require a high amount of multiplexing to enable the analysis of multiple samples, experimental conditions, or patient cohorts.
